[1000mp] FT-1000MKV Field Discontinued??

I'm glad I bought my "Field" when I did if they are going to discontinue 
them. It was the only new contest rig in that price range. If the Field and 
200 watt Mark V are going to be discontinued, this is going to leave the 
contester on a tight budget, at least this one, with only the "buy used" 
equipment. option. But hopefully the "Field" will last a long long time.
