Yuri,
As an owner of a non reparable FT1000MP damaged through UPS shipment, I
can only suggest you take extra care when you package your MP by
providing special support of the front panel-especially the main tuning
knob area...so I suggest you support the front panel from side to side,
top to bottom, to prevent any front panel blow from striking any knobs,
switches or buttons. In my case this front blow took place and severly
damaged the KEY unit board, which is no longer available from YAESU or
any of their repair facilities-plus I made a dedicated search for a used
board with no success.
