i just digout the manual from my stolen ft1000mp some years ago
you could also change the menu from the 1000mp to have max 50watt output
menu 4-0. And 4-3 is for tuning up a amplifier with the remote fh-1 keypad.


if you wanna control the ALC from the amp connect a DVM to the ALC line of
the amp and
see if you have negative dc voltage is coming up when changing the alc pot
on the amp
