[1000mp] one last request for suggestions

I have a friend with a radio that does exactly the same thing. It ususally
takes a few hours of contesting to make it happen. I had it open several
times, and have been through the reseating thing, and it always came back to
life before I could track down the problem. It definitely does not seem to
be an issue with any of the RF connections. I believe it's connected to the
VFO A synthesizer. I talked to the owner Sunday, and it's become enough of
a problem now that he's sending it in to Yaesu, too.
