  Also, BlackBox has some that use USB-to-RS232.
   
  Ona side note, I smoked the MAX-232 chip in my MKV a
few years ago, 
and the problem was a loose RS-232 cable.  I make sure
it is tightened 
up and secure on the computer side and the radio
side.  I've not had any 
further problems.
