[1000mp] MAX232 replacement.... not a big deal.

Blake,

I had FT1000MP/V plugged into a USB->Serial converter and the CAT was  
still damaged by a fairly close lightning strike.
It was strong enough to flip some circuit breakers.  I lost CAT in an  
FT847 and FT1K plugged into the same 4 port USB->Serial converter.

These threads are helpful, I will change em myself in the future!
