[1000mp] While tuningup/down the band hearing blobs FT1000MPMark V Field

You will probably only hear them when the antenna is disconnected and maybe 
terminated with a load.  The are most likely receiver "Birdies".  They are 
generated within the receiver with all the mixing products going on.  They 
should be low enough that atmospheric noise should cover them up.  If they 
are worse than that you may have a problem in the radio.
