[1000mp] Noise on recording

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies.
I'm trying to collect the answers.

- I've tested the mic-in on the laptop and found no noise on the record 
from real mic. So it seems the sound card has no problem.

- I think Jim's idea is the closest because when I plugged the headphone 
directly into the MP's AF out it had no noise.
I've uploaded 2 clips to have a "look" if you are interested.

The "test2" is better when I pulled back the RF gain completely so the 
noise is only audible. It doesn't seem distortion due to overdrive. I'll 
pull together an attenuator to lower the signal level.

- The dual mode gave the same noisy result.
