Joe, I had two original MP's, one was the actual radio that QST product
tested so it was an "early" one. I now have a MK 5 and Orion to replace the
MP's. If I were you, I would invest in a full set of Inrad filters to
complement your style of operating, do the full mod package, especially the
roofing filter and key click and keep your rig. Those are great rigs and
have the capability of being top notch in competing with the newer, WAY more
expensive radios. I wish I had never gotten rid of mine although I really do
love the MK5, fully modified. 73, Tommy WD4K
