Further elaborating on what Art said, about the only tricky part of this installation is adjusting the IF gain of the transceiver to the appropriate level, where the receiver has been made so much quieter.  Apparently there has been some variability in the gain of the roofing filter units (which include a small amplifier to make up for insertion loss), so it may be possible to wind up with a receiver that is "hot" enough that its gain detracts from the improved IMD and blocking performance provided by the roofing filter.  

A variety of methods to deal with this have been suggested, including comparing S-meter readings on the main and sub-receiver.  The Elecraft XG-1 and XG-2 are tiny single-band and 3-band signal sources that provide 1 and 50 microvolt test signals on either 40 meters (XG-1) or 80, 40, and 20 (XG-2).  For $39 and $59 in easy-to-build kit form, they provide an excellent way to set the MP's S-meter at 50 uV, ending the argument once and for all.
