What does the Mark Vs tuner have to do with anything? I'd say the
ALS-600 would be more sensitive to high SWR than the Mark V, especially
at the power levers you'd be using it at to drive the Ameritron. The
ALS-600 has a tuned input and if the SWR on the antennas is OK, then you
should be able to use the Ameritron. What you don't want to do is pump
200 watts into the ALS-600.
If the SWR on the antennas isn't OK, then buy a new tuner, since it's
going to be cheaper than a new Mark V or a new ALS-600.
