[1000mp] Frozen main VFO knob

I had the same problem on my first IC-775 several years ago.  I had  
to change the optical encoder, if memory serves me it was around $70  
and I changed it myself saving labor costs.  I have not had the  
problem with my MKV past MP's, knock on wood.
