[1000mp] Maybe dumb questions ?

My opinion
I have owned mine for about 4 years
Peraonally like the FT-1000mp original a lot better.
If you do not need the tuner turn it off in the menu
setting. Believe me it might save you a prob in the
long run especially if you are using an amp,
Never had a prob with it heating up - but again I use
a n amp so always low power output from the rig.
Dont trust the internal meters -- not accurate --
outside swr or power meter best
Also watch the Class-A dont use it
