[1000mp] Clicks/Thumps Resolved

Some steps I've taken have greatly improved the transmit audio of the
Mark V Field on CW, nearly eliminating the clicks/thumps in the
headphones I complained about on this reflector recently.

First, I switched back to the Yaesu Collins 500 Hz filter (YF-115C) for
the "Narrow 1" slot and put the 500 Hz INRAD filter that had been in the
main receiver in the sub-receiver. Result: a significant reduction in
clicks/thumps.

I also did a full CPU reset, and set the keyer break-in time (Menu 7-4)
to 25 ms.

The noise is now nearly gone. It rates a "no problem."

It strikes me that whatever advantage the INRAD 500 Hz filter may have
had in the way of sharper skirts, it is not worth the aggravation, at
least for this op.

Now I can enjoy the rig :-)
