My roofing filter arrived today, along with a 708 (250 Hz CW filter for the 2nd IF).  The roofing filter would have been sent last week, but I asked them to wait until I ordered the 250Hz filters this week on the 15th.  The 704 (250 Hz CW filter for the 3rd IF) is backordered and not scheduled to get here until mid-May.  So guess I will be busy this weekend installing everything else, at least for a little while.

Since I have the Elecraft XG-1 I'll let you know if I had to adjust 9-1 since some have said that the newer versions didn't require adjustments.  In fact the instructions said that if you had the 70MHz mod to turn it back to the factory setting, up 2.  Since I don't have the other mod install logic would say that I won't need to change it.  So Noel, you dropped your's 1 step, you might want to reconsider that move and put it back.

While I have the rig apart I will install the NB mod too.  Would have done it back when I did the key-click mod, but didn't have the right value resistor.  What exactly does this mod do anyway?

Man with all the CW mods that I've done (or doing) looks I'll have to figure out how to use that paddle again.
