[1000mp] preference question

Not my choice ... I have a FT-1000D and a Mark V.  The FT-1000D 
spends its time in the closet in a box while the MarkV is the 
one on my desk in daily use.  Both rigs have a full complement 
of filters. 

The FT-1000D lacks DSP noise reduction, the FT-1000D lacks the 
VRF (low band preselector), the FT-1000D is not as quiet as the 
MKV, and the MK V subreceiver seems to be better than the D.
