[1000mp] FT-1000 MK V Field

My MkV does this too. I think it is a function of the power supply warming up. The MKV has the separate power supply so I've found
that if I turn it on a minute or so before I turn on the rig, I do not get the blank display.

I'm not sure what this means for your Field. Is it possible the field has been unplugged for a while when this happens? That is, I
wonder if having power avaiable at all, even with the radio off, affects how fast the display lights up?
