[1000mp] FTDX9000D Review August QST

Dave Sumner's comments in the FTDX9000D review were interesting
when he said anything he could hear on the 9000D (during strong
signal contesting conditions) could also be heard on his regular
transceiver, adding that "pushing the performance envelope this far will not
make a difference very often."  W3IZ said signals "seemed sharper and
crisper
on the 9000D," but never said he was able to copy a signal on the big Yaesu
that he couldn't copy on his MP.  Worth an extra ten grand?  I don't think
so.
