[1000mp] Band data cable

If you use the Top Ten Devices band decoder, it has a jack to control an
amplifier, so the Y adaptor is unnecessary.  It has worked fine with my
Alpha 87A.

Would it even be necessary to use the diodes, as long as the band data port 
can provide enough current to drive the devices in question?  I'm assuming 
that they will not be supplied with voltage from any other source.
