[1000mp] noise from the tuner or final section (ft-1000mp)

Hi Ingmar,
Where is the noise being heard?

If in the monitor and it is a MkV, it is probably RF getting into the 
monitor circuitry.  If you have anything at all plugged into the jacks 
on the front panel, put some ferrite chokes on the leads.
