[1000mp] RF Breakthrough.

Hi Steve G0UIH.
Sorry to hear about your problems with your 1000mp, i'm wondering what version you are using 1000mpdc or 1000mpac and what sort of antennas and feedines ?????
You said that the RF breakthrough also occurs on dummy load !!!!!
I would do a search of the rig to make sure all the PCB mounting screws are tight'end up and that they make a good bond to the chassis, also clean up the spring earth bonding strips on the bandpass PCB and underside of the PA.  I would also make sure all inline connectors and coax connectors are good from one PCB to the next.
ie any connections there are "check"
Also from your e-mail it seems as if the problem is getting worse with the passage of time, so it would be good to perform the above.
If the above proves fruitless then stick some 0.01 's across strategic points on the audio board.

PS   just a thought does it occur when all external connections are removed, and just using the internal speaker.
