[1000mp] mkv Finals burned out

Well, I have managed to burn out the final transistors in my MkV for the
second time in
less than a year. Little frustrating that a rig of this quality, cost and
abilities did not
have any type of thermal protection designed in to it.

Anyway, can anyone advise how difficult it is to replace the final
transistors? They,
of course, are not inexpensive and with that, repair labor and shipping
costs, the last
incident cost over $800 to repair. Would like to avoid that this time if I can.

Also, does anyone have any mod circuit available to provide thermal protection?
