Hi All,

After I worked with small power again with my FT1000MKVField on WPX and PACC contest I tried to test some menu's (specially 9.2).
Before the start of change all tune was originals. I put the load 50Ohm/200W and start to change the level of IF TX Gain.
All level for FM/AM is same in all bands but the problems with power on CW &SSB is still one..... after I change the all manufacturing tune a receive this results:

MENU 9.2 - TX IF Gain:

BAND FM PWR AM PWR CW PWR SSB PWR
MHZ level watts level watts level watts level watts
      1.8 5 100 7 100 max(15) 60 max(15) 65
      3.5 4 100 6 100 max(15) 90 max(15) 100
      7 4 100 6 100 12 100 12 100
      10 4 100 5 100 11 100 11 100
      14 4 100 6 100 13 100 13 100
      18 4 100 6 100 14 100 13 100
      21 4 100 6 100 11 100 11 100
      24 4 100 6 100 max(15) 80 max(15) 90
      28 4 100 7 100 max(15) 60 max(15) 60
      29 4 100 6 100 max(15) 60 max(15) 60

But I thinks that is not the right tune . Can be possible the problem is somewhere in IF board ??? or AF or CNTR??? .
I'm sure that the power amplifier board is work properly.

Any ideas what could be going on?

How can be reload a new software ?

Best Regards,

Andy

>Hello all,
>After I buy new FT-1000MP MKV Field the last year and operating on few contest (CQWW CW,ARRL and some RTTY ...) ....one morning the rig couldn't get more than 50W ( I=10A) output on SSB and CW . It was cold.... all night was turn off . The problem is somewhere before the last unit (Power Amplifier) and other ??? because on AM and FM modes radio give a full power 100W ( I=20A) . All voltage on reg unit is worked well. I made few restart of radio ( all possible) ..[29(0)]+POWER; [SUB(CE)]+[ENT]+POWER; [SUB(CE)]+[29(0)] +[ENT]+POWER; but nothing :((((
