[1000mp] Quick Split on Mark V

I just noticed something nice about this. You can engage split two ways:
If you have the quick-split enabled and press the red TX button on the sub
VFO, split is activated and the freq changes.
You can also press press the red TX button on the MAIN VFO. Split will be
engaged but the sub VFO will *not* change.
I accidentally discovered this and it solves a little annoyance I've found
where most of the time I want the quick-split except for those times that I
don't ;)
Enjoy!

When you press the red TX button on the sub-vfo, that activates split &
applies the offset from that menu. Pretty slick!

Page 28 of the Technical Manual Mark V has the Quick Split Feature with menu
1-6 to set the amount of the split. Where on the front panel is the split
key? john
