[1000mp] Any 'smaller' substitution for 1000MP ?

Looking at that desk; I would think about removing that sidewall 
partition to allow for the 1kMP. 
If that does not work, I would be willing to take that radio off your 
hands with a :-) , since I do not have one here.  My 1kD sits on a 
desktop that is only 19 inches deep; I live with the little space in 
front of the radio, and set the paddle on the keyboard pull out tray.
