Bob:

The connections do not require more than the removal of the bottom cover of
the radio to reach.

Two thru the board holes in the Mark V audio board will provide ground and
+5 volts to power the two stage low noise amplifier.

These holes are easily reached, and full instructions are provided, to allow
the connections to the audio board, where the mod board is also mechanically
mounted.

The earlier MP radio, already has pins in these two holes, and no soldering
is required for the install.

Regards,

Mike

I notice that on the INRAD site they say that on the Mark V that two solder
connections have to be made. Can somebody tell me where these are at and
what it consists of?

Thanks,
Bob
