[1000mp] do I need a front end save?

I'm planning on installing a 160/80 loop antenna to help me with 'hearing'.

My question is: Do you guys suggest a 'front end saver' if I plug this into the 
RX antenna port of the Yaesu FT1000MP???

The yagi and this loop will be in CLOSE proximity.
