Noel,
40M is not simply as that to reduce.I have build a M/S station in my garden
with a separation of antennes off max 70 feet in half circle.
I use on one radio W3NQN bandpassfilters and on the other one ICE filters
see http://users.telenet.be/on4ma/OT5G.html
I have build coaxial stubs for each band .The book from W2VJN is a must have
item
maybe under the christmas tree to build stubs on your one.You can order also
coax stubs
from him or dunestar if you have not a annalyzer.Ant-analyzer is one thing
but a borrowered a computer
controlled one
http://www.qsl.net/iw3hev/Antenna%20Analyzer%201.8-60%20MHz-Eng.htm
where you can see multiple freqeuncies.
We still have some little noise on 40m and 15m even with a configuration of
multiple stubs for
this bands.Second or tird harmonics you always detect buth with reduced
signal.I can run radios
now near 20kc of the second or third harmonics.
