[1000mp] Band Data Switch

Well, I breaded the x2 npn switching circuit from K6XX, and it worked well. 
Then I picked up an 8 pin DIN connector, and, with great attention to 
detail, built the circuit within the confines of the connector housing. I 
even potted it. It was beautiful.  And. it bench tested.

Anyone want to guess?  That damn 8 pin DIN is not standard.  My cable would 
not plug into the FT.

I had to laugh. I now remember reading about that connector on this list 
many months ago.  And , so it goes....
