[1000mp] NO PTT on Mp

Wonder if you maybe able to point me in the right direction please.?


We have a FT1000MP and was using it on cw when all of a sudden it lost the 
ability
to go back to receive mode, seemed like it was stuck in TX mode

So we switched the radio off and back on again,  now it has lost the PTT 
function of the radio
we tryed  MOX and VOX  but nothing
Another mic was also used but still no ptt

It changes bands and modesand receives ok too

but now and then when you leave it for a while you can hear a low
click..... and the radio switches into transmit mode
the only way you can stop it is to turn the radio off then back on again

I have done a CPU reset but still nothing.

Wonder if someone has any suggestions please
