Hi Andy,
if you realy mean the menue 9.2 (instead of 9.1) I would not
change the factory settings.
It´s also not reliably to ask others, what setting they have.
These settings are individually for each radio. Factory settings
compensate electronic component tolerances.
For menue item 9.1 I changed the setting, because I installed
the INRAD Roofing Filter.
I adjust it not with measuring instruments but with my ´ears´.
I was looking for a real weak SSB signal which I could just
recognize. And the band should be free form QRN.
Than I adjust the 9.1 value until I found a best Signal/Noise ratio.
I recommend to do it with closed eyes, don´t watch the setting at
the display.
I found the best setting 2 points lower than the factory setting.
