Hello Hans,
Thanks for the info.. The band data cable was already included with the
amp. The only missing cable was the ALC ???? No problem since it is a
plain RCA cable.
According to the book I have to keep the ATN function on all the time
because the Mark V is 200 watts..
Next thing I have to try out is the FTV 1000 Transverter. I will have to be
careful since my 6 M vert. is only rated at 100 watts.

Congratulations William.
Be careful with the connection between the Mark-V and the Quadra. E.g. the
Band-Data 2: use the right pins on the Sub-D connector (10, not 11). And
don't forget to adjust the ALC. Use all the connection cables.
