Subject: [1000mp] Working RTTY
I use Hamscope, which of course uses MMTTY, to do RTTY. I was a bit excited
that the CQWW RTTY contest was going to be on this weekend. Boy was I in
for a rude awakening. The stations are so close together that I am unable
to keep them separated. My question is does the Mark V have the correct
filters built in to work something like this or do I need to rob a bank and
add extra filters and if so which ones? I have pretty much given up on it
for this year, but would like to be ready next year. In case it matters, I
don't actively work the contest, I roam around looking for countries to
work. Never have been a contest type person. Then again that might explain
why after being a ham for 26 years I only have a little over 1500 QSOs.
Thanks,
Bob
