[1000mp] MkV Field Power for RTTY Contests

Hello All,
I have just started using my FT-1000MP MkV Field on FSK, and was wondering
what power level is used by other users when contesting. I read the manual,
but I wanted to poll the experienced users for their operating habits on
RTTY.
I have been been leaving it at full output for S&Ping, but when CQing I have
been setting the output to about 75W output. The duty cycle for CQs has been
6 seconds TX, and 2 to 3 seconds RX. During CQing, the fan cycles on and
off, but the transceiver stays remarkably cool (actually a little warm).
During S&Ping the transceiver stays fairly cool, with the fan starting
occasionally if the exchanges are more lengthy.
Judging by how cool the radio stays, it would seem that I could run it at
100W output for contesting. How do others set the output power on the MkV
Field for RTTY contests?
I apologize if this topic has been covered before, but I didn't find it
scanning the old emails from this list.
Thanks in advance,
Bill
