Well I just ran into something interesting so thought I would ask you. VK6LA was operating on 40 mtrs. He was transmitting on 7.069 phone and listening 7.200. My logging program switch the radio to the proper frequency on both VFOs, but because 7.069 is CW for the US it set the mode of both VFOs to CW. I changed VFO-A to LSB and tuned back, but then realized that VFO-B was still CW and I couldn't figure out how to change the mode. I remember reading it somewhere and finally got around it by press the A>B button to make VFO-B 7.069 on LSB and then walked it up. Unfortunately by the time I did this he had left.
So I have two questions, 1) What is the easy way to change the mode on VFO-B and 2) is there a menu item that would have caused VFO-B to automatically set up at LSB since that is what we use in the US? Sure as heck don't want to go through that again.
