I own both the Field and the MKv...

I love them both

The field also will operate w/ 12v (for field day, mobile, emergencys....) 
and has internal pwr supply and carry handl also...

The 200w is nice on the MKv

If you are buying used,  the quality control on some of the eirlier MKv's had 
issues and the Field seemed to have worked out this matter

You cant go wrong with either...
