If you wanted to use a device such as an MFJ-1026 noise canceler you
could hook it between the rx in and out then push the rx button on the
front panel. The Kenwood 950SDX had something like this except they
used a jumper between the two ports when not in use. MKV uses a relay
controlled by the front panel rx button. Check the user manual, P.23,
#18, P.35 #18 and P. 51, selecting antennas. Not the best
explanations.
