[1000mp] DVS Jack - FT1000MP

I have been contemplating using the DVS jack AF in and out as one point for
a sound card interface to the FT1000MP.

What I can not find is if the AF-OUT is a low level signal independent of
the AF rig control similar to the outputs at the Packet connector, RTTY jack
and the AF out mini jack.

Presently I use the AF IN-OUT on the packet connector for most sound card
functions but I want to give MT-63 a try which operates on USB while my
current OS version does not allow the selection of Packet USB only LSB and
FM.

Anyone have a quick answer and did you find it in the manual?
