Hank, I would get a copy of MPfilters by K6SE, available from the VA3CR web
site, and use it to see which filters the radio is selecting for normal and
nar1/nar2. Then work with the 5-0 to 5-8 menu selections to get the right
selections for each mode. It sounds at least possible that you have one or
more filters in the wrong slots.
