[1000mp] 1000MP MKV Field Filter Difficulty

Hello to the list:

Last night I installed the following Inrad filters in my MarkV field.

1.8 KHz - 8.2
1.8 KHz - 455
500 Hz - 455 (collins)
500 Hz - 455 (collins) in sub receiver
250 Hz - 8.2

When I fired up the rig after closing it up the SSB receive is really constrained, actually using Spectrogram it is 500 Hz wide not matter what I do with the filter settings and which I activate or deacitvate ???

Also the CW settings are reversed with norm being the 250 and narrow 1 and narrow 2 being about 500 Hz and 400 Hz wide respectively ???

The sub receiver 500 Hz acts normally switching in on cw and out with 2.3 KHz on ssb.

I haven't fiddled with the 8-9 menu yet. 

I need some guidance here on how to proceed. I am at the office now so can't mess with the rig but has anyone come up against this?  I check the last two years of the list archives and found a few threads but none were directly applicable to this problem. Unless the 8-9 menu settings will clear this up.

Reply direct or thru the list I will try to summarize responses and the eventual solution in such a way to provide a chart of proceedures dealing with the filter settings on this rig. The manual is less semi usless.
