When I receive the new Mark V next week the I'll test it on the air with =
others to be sure the key clicks are still  a problem on the new rigs as =
well as the old.    If Yaesu acknowledged the problem then they would be =
required to fix the rigs under warranty.   So my guess is they will =
integrate the fixes into the product without saying anything.   Last =
week while on 20M CW I came across a station with terrible keying, very =
harsh and bad key clicks.  And when I contacted him, sure enough, he was =
using the Mark V.   So its not a minor problem.   And if its so bad then =
why has Yaesu let it fester?   I haven't heard keying that bad since the =
50's when cathode keying was used without  any spark suppression . =20
