When I receive the new Mark V next week the I'll test it on the air with =
others to be sure the key clicks are still a problem on the new rigs as =
well as the old. If Yaesu acknowledged the problem then they would be =
required to fix the rigs under warranty. So my guess is they will =
integrate the fixes into the product without saying anything. Last =
week while on 20M CW I came across a station with terrible keying, very =
harsh and bad key clicks. And when I contacted him, sure enough, he was =
using the Mark V. So its not a minor problem. And if its so bad then =
why has Yaesu let it fester? I haven't heard keying that bad since the =
50's when cathode keying was used without any spark suppression . =20
