Some may think this silly, but I accidentally found a wonderful speaker
for the Field recently.   Tried it on a lark and wound up building a shelf
for it....An MCM Electronics home theatre center channel job with
twin 6.5 inch woofers.   Wonderful sound for broadcast and ragchewing.
Perhaps not for CW DX.   And I've never heard any squeals in the shack.  Not
from the Field at least.   If you have such a box laying around, give it a try.
Think they are around 45 dollars new...Beats ANY metal box "Communications"
speaker.
