[1000mp] Collins Filter and DSP

Re: the Collins Filter in the sub RX. It only works properly if installed one
way. When I first put it into my Field sux RX, it did not work. So I reversed
it and it worked fine. So make sure that you set the menu to turn it on and
check it before you put the cover back on.  Subsequently, I replaced the Collins
with an
INRAD 400 Hz filter in the sub RX. I like it a lot better.

Also I find the APF and EDSP buttons quite useless in my Field.
That is why I use my Timewave DSP 599zx plugged into the headset jack on the
front panel.  The "Spotlight" feature and variable controls are superior to
the Yaesu controls.
