For that matter, in the Mark V version on W8JI's web site, while the 
schematic shows two pots, the narrative calls out values of fixed resistors 
in their place.  That and the off-board placement of the components on a 
terminal strip makes me more comfortable than doing it all directly on the 
PC boards.
