[1000mp] mark-v cw bandwidth info

hello 
i like to ask this i have the mark -v , i don't have yet install filters in. 
on cw i notice when the bandwidth is on NOR there is some ATT on 
[ATT-attenuation]
but when i set the the bandwidth to NR1 it is ok wonder why is NOR for ssb 
more then cw?
and what will be the best [till i am going to but this filter] to set it to 
cw operation
