[1000mp] Roofing Filters

Hi Pete

I think my posting was taken in the wrong context. After things settle down
from the Holidays, or if it's possible, I will probably be ordering my
roofing filter as soon as next week. I have the cw filters already in the
rig.

Here's the statement that I guess bothered me:

<snip from below>
Several of my contest club friends have
>>told me that the "roofing filter" is a must in this rig for contesting????

I was just trying to point out that the 1000 MP series has been among the
best contest rigs available long before the roofing filter mod came out.
That is the beginning and end of what I was trying to state. And, the
considerate MP owner has his radio "de-clicked" (mine has).

I realize the roofing filter mod is quite an improvement, and will be
ordering mine as soon as I can.

73, Happy Holidays Mike K9MI
