[1000mp] Re: Roofing Filter Mod Install Problem

Tilen,
  If you have the FT-1000MP and you don't hook the little coaxial cables in 
the right places on the boards and/or seat the female J1 on the roofing 
filter board into the male J1 on the IF board properly your receiver will 
virtually deaf.
  If you gave a Mark V/Field and don't solder the two little wires onto the 
IF board that provide 5 volts for operation to the roofing filter board plus 
the first paragraph above your receiver will be deaf.
