Happy Holidays Hans, et. al.,

The problem with the IC-775, if I remember correctly, is it puts out a low 
power signal on the RX VFO when operating split.  So, if you are calling 
split, your signal is heard on the DX frequency.  On low bands, this can be 
very annoying, as the DX may be weaker than the stray signal feed through 
from the "Wrong VFO".
