[1000mp] MkV Rx 'de-sensing'.

Hello Everyone,
Some months ago there was much discussion here on this 'problem' - which has
affected my MkV from new (serial #0N 190050).

On my MkV the 'de-sensing' could be cleared by a simple touch of the key, by
changing bands or by simply switching from the 'front' to the 'back' VFO. I
only ever noticed the problem whilst the rig was on CW.

Some 2 weeks ago I went into the menu system - # 7-7 - & changed the CW (Rx)
setting to OFF.

Since making this change the problem has not re-surfaced. I'm not saying
I've found a cure - am never that optimistic! But it would be interesting
to hear if others who have the same problem would care to try switching off
7-7 CW to see if the same applies to their rigs.

73 de Mike, zl1mh.
