[1000mp] Question to those using the INRAD Roofing filter

Could someone please tell me what a "roofing" filter is ??   I am not
familiar with that term.

I recently added two more Yaesu's to the collection, a brand new Mark V 200
Watter and a mint FT1000D.

These are fine rigs, and I will be doing a test of them vs. the Icom rigs
soon.

I am not an actual user of the roofing filter, but plan to get one when they
become available again around the end of September.

I would encourage you to visit the inrad website at

www.qth.com/inrad/roofing-filters.pdf  .

This document is a good explanation of what the filter aims to achieve and
how it works etc. I think that's a good starting point.
